Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the fourth child in the family. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist as well as a teacher who were both instructors in her pursuit of her passion to perform in theatre. This contrasted the earlier dream to become a primateologist because she was a fan of monkeys. The rise of her as a young actress was rapid and highlighted by a rapid rise to fame. When she completed her education as an actress, she was part of the French program for scouting talent on television Jeunes Premiers. The show awarded her the best young Actress in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actress. Even though she went to The Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou is now averse to her Catholic upbringing by stating that she is not officially Catholic. With her acting work and modeling career, she has tried her hand at modeling. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. The model also has an interest in photography and recently put on an exhibit of photography at the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. Her photographs concentrates on the spotlight and celebrity. Cameras are focused on journalists who have scrutinised the actress in the wake of Amelie's unexpected triumph. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and global fame after her debut role as the main character in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a box offices and was well-received at awards ceremonies across the globe. The movie is the most successful French language movie across the US. In the years following the release of this film, Tautou starred in many films ranging in everything from British dramatics, to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fauncailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
