April Lockhart
April Lockhart born 4 July 1995. She began with guitar and piano in 7th grade which sparked her interest. In the seventh grade April started taking guitar and piano classes. This ignited her interest in songwriting. At the age of 14 April was a big devotee of her time to creating and playing with songs. In the following months, April started going in NY and LA along with her dad so that they could both write songs. April featured other topics in her hit song"Take my Hand. These topics were for friends that dealt issues like peer pressure, issues or even teenage suicide ideas. Lockhart has her own fan base and is a lifestyle blogger at the renowned Ilia clean beauty brand. It's true that she was born without a left hand, and it is what makes her different. However, this isn't the only characteristic of her. Lockhart's Twitter profile does not conceal the fact that she is disabled however, it doesn't make a point of it. What message is it sending? It's crucial to understand that everyone has multiple faces. Our identities are varied and we're much more than our bodies. Lockhart has stated on video that she didn't want to be defined by her disability. She doesn't want to become an advocate for disabled people who only talks about disability. There are many aspects to Lockhart. And it doesn't affect my day-to-day life I do things normally, and I've discovered the best way for me to adapt the things. It's an integral aspect of my existence, so it is important to talk about it. Lockhart has been a great inspiration to her fellow women regarding self-acceptance. She still admits having gone through a series of phases in her body, and felt uneasy in some instances to wear clothing that displayed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and is proud to post pictures of herself dressed in outfits she wears on social platforms. Self-love, according to her, is a kind of journey. "I believe that you'll ever get there," she said. It's true for all regardless of degree of self-confidence. The people around you with, who know you, and can see through your eyes are the most important people to help you remember what you're worried about.
