She wanted to share practical tips in the classroom and inspire others to adopt a more positive outlook to help them enjoy their jobs. The site was originally called Ms. Powell's management ideas for teachers until 2008. Then, it was renamed The Cornerstone for Teachers, shortly after she published her book. Angela's 40-hour Workweek Program is employed by nearly 45,000 schools to boost efficiency. The program was initially designed to help educators, but 40 Hour later was expanded and included instructional coaches and administrative staff. This helps teachers become more mindful of their contract teaching and time so that they can concentrate on what is important.
